Sending messages
Go to Communications to send email and SMS messages to your tournament participants. You can target:
- All teams in the tournament
- A specific division
- An individual team
Email is available to all participants. Tournament emails are sent from noreply@dugoutiq.app and use your tournament branding (logo and primary color in the header).
SMS
SMS requires participants to have opted in. Parents opt in during waiver signing. Coaches opt in during registration.
If SMS appears disabled, it means no contacts in the selected audience have opted in to SMS updates. The message will explain why.
Push notifications
Coaches and parents who have installed the DugoutIQ Tournaments mobile app receive push notifications automatically for key events — schedule published, bracket published, score updates.
